The CV430 TachPRO II is a single pulse per revolution tachometer. The CV430 is a fifth generation instrument, incorporating the advanced technology features developed in models dating back nearly 30 years. Designed for temporary or semi-permanent use, these instruments have been relied upon to get the job done in industries ranging from automotive to gas turbine engines.
The CV430 TachPRO II is rugged and reliable. A proven performer, it is the tachometer sensor of choice for situations where other mechanical sensors cannot be used. The probe distance ranges from near contact to a distance of 18 inches, and the unique reflective characteristics of the light source provides a phase dependent, once-per-revolution pulse.
Also available is the CV630 TachPRO II High tooth / Low tooth tachometer built for various aircraft engines. The CV630 is a direct replacement for the earlier model SPS630, which was built around GEAE and Rolls Royce magnetic sensor tachometer signals.
