The CV440 in the evolution of Cognitive Vision's tachometer products for rotating machinery applications. It provides a high standard for precision and reliability while also requiring no adjustments. Like our other tachometers, it is rugged and reliable, and the CV440 can be used where other mechanical sensors cannot. Due to the unique reflective characteristics of the light source, this unit functions equally well with a probe range anywhere from near contact to a distance of up to12 inches.

The CV440 PhaseTracker features the latest in innovative development with the addition of automated detector gain circuitry eliminating the need for sensitivity adjustments during operation. Other improvements over the previous models also includes extended battery life and better fiber optic cable performance.

Some of the main features of the CV440 PhaseTracker are:

• Easy to install - no critical alignment, spacing, or adjustment
• Constant pulse - regardless of speed
• Ideal for "problem" locations - works from 0.25 in. to 12 in. from the target
• Wide operating range - Less than 0.05 PPS to greater than 5,000 PPS
